Default 1936 grille trim removal

Hello from the north of germany.

I want to remove the stainless steel grille trim from my Cabriolet.

I could not remove it by hand or with a platic tool.
From the other side there are screws. Do I have to unbold the screws to get the trim out?
Without dismounting the entire grille it is not possible to reach the screws...

How did you this?

Conrad

I had red wheels and a red stripe on my washington blue. The french flathead and the wide fives are already tacoma cream, and now the stripe follows. Therefore the trim has to be removed.
