Hi Everyone! sunshine, I couldn't make it this year. Couldn't get free for Hershey either!

Did you go out through the cemetery to Old Baltimore Rd (worst)? I try to go out by the 7-11 (OK) to the light at Rt.28.

Looking at a map this morning I see another possibility, but it's heading South when you're wanting to go North.

Did you get detoured coming down Georgia Avenue on the way to the show? The radio said it was closed just below Olney.

I'm excited for next week's RG36 club meeting.

I was there. Maybe I will post some photos.

It was a mess getting in and out. I did not see the Civic Center sign that I usually use to go through the neighborhood to get there, so I got hung up going in. Getting out was not too bad. The problem is that is is back in a residential neighborhood and there are too few ways out. Maybe it is worth commenting to the organizers, but they have police directing traffic to help. The city has done this for decades, so they have lots of experience doing it, but there may be some good alternatives. It may be that people in the neighborhood complain about the cars leaving, so they limit the exits.

Lots of nice cars there and three nice green Ford trucks, including yours! Woodies were the featured cars this year and they were glorious!

Jeff, I took your OK route and turned left on Woodburn to go out to Viers Mill and south. I typically turn onto Edmonston from Viers Mill, but I missed it and had to go to 28. I did turn right onto Grandia on the way in to miss the jam on 28. Still my second favorite show after Hershey.

Jeff I know the shortcuts but its getting off of the grounds , that is the problem. Last year it took me 1hr. creeping in traffic with my 11 in. clutch .So this year I left at 1:30 Hope to see you at the meeting tue. SUNSHINE

Sunshine, I left around 3 and it took me about 20 minutes max, maybe less time, to get out of there.

I was there. I went out the way we came in (of course going the wrong way) we left early enough to not get caught. (not that they would do anything) There is some thought given to move the show so that arriving and departing are less stressful.

No offense to organizers, but a silly place for a show. Impossible for any volume of traffic to move in and out.

If you build it, they will come, just might be their plan.
