W-18 Champion Spark Plug
Hey Purdy, I was wondering about the Champion W-18 plugs. I put them in today , engine ran fine , I coud not believe how slow the engine would idle , compared to the TT 10 , or the Autolite 3076 that I have used in the past. Could It be the extra length of the plug , about 3/16 of an inch making the difference? The length of the firing end.

W-18 Champion Spark Plug is all that I have run for the last 30 some thing years on the same set. Long/short etc runs. All stock with modern points. Yes I run 50 on the freeway & it idles real nice & slow.

Re: W-18 Champion Spark Plug
When I put W-18 plugs in, the comment was (as in Goldilocks) "My, what big plugs you have there!"
