Default Can Someone Identify These Bumper Brackets Please

Here is a set of bumper brackets that I believe came off of a 1939-40 Mercury Sedan or a 1940 Ford truck. I tried looking through the archives but couldn't identify them. I am selling off my extra parts to fund my project. I will not use them. I will put them in the for sale section when I find out what they fit and what is a fair price. Thanks

they don't appear to have the pick up rear " drop" so 39/40 sedan rear?

Assuming that the two straight sections are bolted to the frame side rails, they really look like a weird configuration, maybe not even Ford brackets.

That's the whole point - the 35-40 frames taper in that area.

They don't look like 1940 Ford to me. Below is a pic of 40 rears that look close but no cigar. Hope this helps

I do not know, but I do know the 39 and 40 bumper arms are not the same. The bolt hole spacing is different on the bumpers.
