Rear View Mirrors for 31 Deluxe Roadster
I have a driver’s side stanchion mirror which is OK, but a little small. I don’t have a passenger side mirror, but do have an in-cab mirror attached to the windshield frame. My rear view vision is limited, as the the driver’s side mirror is small.
Does anyone have recommendations to improve rear-view vision ? Thanks - Jim |

Re: Rear View Mirrors for 31 Deluxe Roadster
Rear view is tough.
I installed a right mirror on my deluxe roadster on the stanchion, just like the one on the left side. That helps seeing traffic on the right side. On both mirrors I glued on those little mirrors on both stanchion mirrors and that is great to use when backing up. You can see right down to the ground by the rear wheels and to the sides. https://www.ebay.com/i/253411222557?...evt=1&mkcid=28 |

Re: Rear View Mirrors for 31 Deluxe Roadster
I also have two stanchion mirrors on my ‘29 Roadster. My problem is that They won’t stay in place because of the vibration from the engine. This is probably due to crappy repops. The vibration also makes it impossible to keep the wind-wings in place. I’ve been thinking of using Locktite Thread Locker. Anyone else have any other solutions?

Yes, you need Loctite because there is hardly any threads in the stantion, at least on a 31.

Re: Rear View Mirrors for 31 Deluxe Roadster
I'm looking at buying an e-bike and have been looking at a lot of options. One option with possible use in the A Hobby is a remote mounted camera and small screen the riders are using to show what is behind them.
This unit would need a power source but other than that would not have to be permanently attached to anything. Might work?

I’ve considered that myself, but I seem to recall someone posting that the static produced by the engine can cause interference with the camera display. If someone knows of a unit that works with 6v, I’d love to know about it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
