Default Alamite grease adapter

Just received my Alamite grease adapter. I'm a little disappointing as it is made from plastic or nylon of some type. I had assumed it would be metal of some type. Are these durable enough?? Thanks, TB

Fiberglass fenders? Knock on the higher quality with your knuckles and they even SOUND like metal.

I use the original grease gun after I rebuilt it myself. It is a piece of cake other than to reload the gun a few times.

Redbird...any tips on rebuilding. I have three guns and two need rebuilding. My "go to" gun simply quit. I suspect the seal is shot. Thanks!

What kind of seal is in the gun? Mine looked like a worn, mushed up piece of something. I bent back the tangs and separated the the two discs. I took some rubber-fiber gasket material and cut out a circle a little bigger than the discs and then attached back together. It works for me and I greased the whole car.

Thanks for the pix my friend. The plastic adapter works but I think I will rebuild mine as you did.

The easiest gun to use is this altemite 6B, one hand operation, very quick, but it does have to be hand filled unless you pump it full with modern gun --no adapters needed
