1931 tudor top material
Fixin (southern word) to order top kit for my late '31 delux tudor. Its a four year frame up restoration and will be used as our touring car. Do you think it would be ok and look good to use the short grain material. Thanks, Joe Young, Slapout, AL

Short grain....
is incorrect but the long grain being produced today does not look exactly like the original fabric either.
in April we sold a 31 Tudor with original roof material. personal opinion, the short grain will look closer to the real thing. had we kept the car, we would have replaced with short grain. have seen several Tudors with short grain, they look good. get it done while the weather is still hot! I had a Tudor roof professionally replaced in Novemnber, the fabric was LOOSE in summer. |
