1937 Sedan Delivery paint stripe color

Hello,
I am in the process of having my 37 Sedan Delivery painted stock color, Bright Coach Maroon (M-1758). This calls for a "Gold" paint stripe, color code M-650. The 1937 Ford reference book I have does not illustrate the Gold color so I am at a loss at to what shade of Gold to use (there are many). I have looked at the "paintref" website and spent several hours googling this color code, to no avail.
Can anyone help me out?

I waited to see if anyone chimed in here, For a single pin stripe I doubt anyone would know or noticed the difference in gold's if you just picked a gold or were able to match the code you have. At the end of the day, its a commercial vehicle and color wise you could have had any color you wished. Just pick a gold and be done!!!

I commend you on your efforts to do this correctly. It seems most guys these days are okay with "good enough".
I might suggest you contact Roy Nacewicz with your concern. He is with little question the authority on '37 Sedan Delivery vehicles. If you've never spoken with him, you'll find him to be quite knowledgeable and quite willing to help.

Thanks for the replies. My post is kind of a nit, so it is warming to get any responses at all. I will hit up Roy. I have ordered several nuts/bolts from him in the past and I recall he had restored a 37 Sedan Delivery too. I will circle back to this thread if I get an actual color code that crosses to M-650. (I went through this with the Rustic Brown color also, and that is more well know than this innocuous gold stripe color.

Gregg....you might try Finesse Pinstriping Inc. , they sell an Imitation Gold paint.

It was originally a metallic gold, definitely gold and not yellow gold. It was used extensively on '32s (with black and maroon and black body colors) and again in the Spring of 1936 with light fast maroon. I've photos of it but none close enough or outdoors to be representative. Sorry.

Scroll to below the red stripe and click on Manage Attachments.
A pop up box will appear. Click on Choose File.
A pop up window will display files on your desktop, or whichever selected location is highlighted. Click your selection.
Click on Choose. Repeat for multiple pictures.
Click on Upload.
Click on Preview.
Submit Reply.

Sedan Delivery pics...now it is Miller Time...
First pic is when I bought it (and had hair).
Second pic is earlier this year when it was sent to the body shop.
I absolutely love this thing, hope to die in it when that time comes
