Default Banjo steering wheel on '38 Column

Is the '39 banjo steering wheel a bolt on for a '38 standard column ? Does the '38 light switch rod work with this wheel ? Thanks, Paul

yes it will fit and the horn button/ rods are the same for the 38 and 39 other than the deluxe horn button which is different but will fit either year. the steering wheel used the same mounting method and the 36 thru 39 banjos will all interchange on the different year columns, the horn buttons are year specific for 36 and 37 while the 38 and 39 horn buttons will interchange.
