Re: wireless turn signals
Except in the city most of the roads here in Az are unlit at night. I live outside of the city. Coming home a while ago at night, my daughter followed me home ( by coincidence) down a local highway. The speed limit is 50mph. I was doing 45, so everyone attempts to pass. My daughter told me she could not see me until she was about 200 feet behind. Good thing I made a right, and not a left. Hand signals don't work at night, especially with no moon. Even in the day, anyone under the age of 60 thinks your waving. I have more then one car, so these are worth the price. I just do not wish to put them on painted surfaces, at least for long, for fear that they will leave a "bleached" spot on the paint. The sun does wonders out here. Thanks for your replies.

Re: wireless turn signals
To Rons49...Just another point to make in response to your latest post...
The running lights are very important and a great feature as are the blinking hazards feature should you have a flat or want to put them on if your only doing 45 on a highway. Around hear 75 to 85 is the normal speed for modern cars and it doesn't take much for them to be on your rear bumper before they realize your driving an antique car at 45mph. These lights are bright and very noticeable in the dark! At a recent Model A meeting I brought my set in and put it on my BMW to show the guys. They were brighter than the BMW markers and everyone appreciated that fact. Everyone talks about the turn signals but the markers and hazards are really useful... Remember, you can't see Model T's or A's at night without a lantern. |

Re: wireless turn signals
I bought a set of big white Mickey Mouse hands/gloves at Disneyland. They work great for hand signals and everyone is always smiling as they go by.
