Default 52 Merc First Drive of 2022

Easter weekend gave us a break weather wise so I got the 52 Merc going for some video and photo shooting. I still need to fix that "self draining" Holley teapot carburetor but otherwise the car runs and drives great. Its been a slow, cold spring here.

Thanks for the ride Ralph, brings me back to the late 50’s when all 6 of us would pile in my Dad’s 53 Merc and head off to the lake with a boat in tow and a trunk full of picnic supplies. On the way home my mom would hang our wet bathing suits on the antenna. Thanks again.

Interesting memories of your dad's Merc. This one made a few trips to the lake back in the sixties as well but no boat to tow. Wish I had some pictures from that time showing the parking lot. Mostly facing downhill to the lake and the old Mercomatic struggled to back out of the parking space down by Pasqua Lake.
