Default Original photos of 31 roadster seats and seat back?

Does anyone have ORIGINAL photos of seats and back cushions?

The object is to see the spacing of the pleats, the piping, and if its known the inches between the pleats.

Depends if the car is Std. or Deluxe. See the Judging Standards for details. Standards have 11 pipes in both front cushions. Deluxe 18. Rumble seats are 7 and 9 pleats in the standard and 13 and 15 in the deluxe. Be careful not to be too careful. Inspection of cars with original upholstery reveals that pleats in back rest don't always line up with pleats in cushion. Ford was not as careful as modern day restorers.

My car is a deluxe.

Wondering if the 18 pleats are evenly spaced or do the first pleats from the edges have a little wider pleat.

Try & get a look at '" Ford Model A as Henry Built It " by DeAngelis, Francis & Henry which has factory photos of the pleats on roadster seats.
Also there is a good Factory photo of an interior of a '30 in Restorer Vol. 19,issue 1, May-June 1974. The seats have creases & misalignments from new.

Brad, that is a good picture. It shows the first pleat as being wider.

Does anyone have the Ford Model A as Henry Built It " by DeAngelis or Restorer Vol. 19,issue 1, May-June 1974. that they can take a picture of the page and send it in?
