Stock oil filter?
I am preparing to start my engine for break-in and have a question about the filter. The filter body has a tight rubber seal on the top and bottom that appears to seal against the inside tube. I have a new seal for the lid but don't know if anything more is required as far as seals go.
Thanks and anxious for the help. Fourdy |

Re: Stock oil filter?
That is all you need. Just make sure the cover and body surfaces are clean. Remove the old gasket from the cover and install the new one in its place.
