Fuel Tank compatability
Question,
is it true that a 30-31 fuel tank will fit all models such as coupes and roadsters? What about firewalls? |

Re: Fuel Tank compatability
As an FYI: The late 31 tanks used with the indented firewall are different than the 30-early 31 tanks. The steering column bracket was removed and there is a different bracket riveted to the tank where the fuel comes out due to the gas shut off valve being moved to the engine side of the firewall. They won't interchange.

Re: Fuel Tank compatability
That being said, I have 2 early firewalls, one is a Briggs and one early tank. My plan was to use the tank for a roadster of the same year.
thanks, |

Re: Fuel Tank compatability
Also don't forget about round and oval speedometers.
If you are doing a Deluxe Roadster you need a round speedometer. Bob |
