Red Head manifold heater for Model A
I have a Red Head manifold heater for a Model A Ford (see first picture).
Does anyone have one on their car? I need the Red Head heater door (see picture 2). Does anyone have a Red Head heater door for sale? Thanks, Neil Mylar [email protected] |

Hi John,
Yes, I am still looking. One of these days I might get lucky and find an original door. You are very fortunate to have both the heater and the door. Neil |

Re: Red Head manifold heater for Model A
I have a couple of oddball doors with no name on them. I would love to find the correct door for my Autolite heater.

Buddy, hello. Does your Red Head heater cover bolt on from the top, like the Auto-Lite "waffle type" manifold? Or does it fit on a standard smooth top manifold? Thanks, Mark

I'll have to dig it out.
I never installed it. I found a door, but the details on it are very worn. I have an identical plain door. I wish I could find someone to etch the details on it. Neil |
