And I didn't mean that last comment to diminish anyone elses review of the socket in any way.

I thought I read that we were asked to not comment about receiving them. Yes, I did receive them a couple days ago and will take them to the clinic this Thursday. Hope I can remember who all wanted them, or I might have one or two left over. They are a very nicely machined socket, and will sure help with carb work. Thanks Bill

Never said about saying you received them, just said not to divulge the ordering information.

Some people have gotten the information to place orders and have done so even they are not on the list for the first run of sockets I made.

I agreed to make sockets for the original interested parties. I will be making another run for others who are interested that didn't make it on the first list. The second run is already started, but I only have enough from the first run to satisfy the original interested parties. The rest will have to wait a bit.

I am not sure how to explain this better, lol, sorry.

Anyway Tom,

curious to hear your opinion since you seem to be rather technical, and have a great amount of knowledge on the subject.

I currently have approximately 12 folks who have not yet replied back to my notices for receiving sockets. I have notified these folks thru FB email as well as FB pm's.

Please check your emails and pm's. Since some of the emails may not have been updated or have changed, I will send the same people pm's on here to see if I get a response.

I still have other notices to send over the next few weeks, so if you have not been notified do not worry, it will probably be sent very soon.

I received my socket yesterday via USPS 2 day delivery. I am really pleased with the quality and workmanship of this long needed tool. No more vice grips, cuss words etc. Thank you Bill for this fine contribution to our hobby. Mike in NJ (jburnsinnj)

Thanks for the kind words guys.

Over 50 people have received sockets in the last couple of weeks. Many of which haven't posted anything here or contacted me directly.

I sure hope all of them feel the same way, lol. I haven't had a single negative comment yet and if I have done the job as well as I think I did, I don't expect to hear any.

Guys, once again, please pay attention to the instructions I send you about ordering the socket. If you don't include your ford barn name, and it is nothing like your name used to ship, I can't verify who you are and ship in a timely manner.

Please try and follow the directions in order to make my life more simple and get your sockets in a timely manner.

Well, I tell ya folks, I have over $14,000.00 worth of Snap-On tools in my box and don't have one of these. So, if it's not too much trouble, would you please add me to the list of those wanting one.

[email protected]

You notify me with email, I will give you the $30.00 for the socket and shipping to your email or PayPal account and you can ship one to me.

Thanks for the making of a quality product.

Bill's instructions are easy to follow.

Once your number comes up and you are notified, Bill gets your socket to you really fast. Bill has made us a quality product and I doubt he is going to retire off the proceeds so let's try to make his life easier. I keep mine in my Special Tool Tool Drawer.

Thanks again Bill for all you have done.
