Nothing for me as yet.. still patiently waiting.
Thanks Bill for letting me know I am coming up soon though.
Also sorry to hear you ran into problems with this, but am happy it was that as opposed to something more serious.

A lot of people not impressed with this person. Obviously very little business experience. Wayne.

When I send you guys your notices to purchase, please do not divulge the information to others.

I have now had to weed out and refund 3 different purchases since they were not on the original interest and confirmed list.

We are making a second run, so express your interest and let me add you to the second list, but please don't try and circumvent this process since it is already rather time consuming to deal with.

Thank you all for your continued interest and patience.

Bill

I had a 13/32 deep socket in some cheap 1/4" sockets I had laying around.

The machining operation that made the hex left these leaves inside the socket that would not allow it to go over the tube portion. They were hard so I used some of these small dremel diamond bits I got at one of the cheapo tool tables at Hershey one year to grind them down. Worked like a charm.

Keep your eyes open at garage sales and such as you never know what you find.

Our hobby and the industry have existed very nicely without your socket for more than 85 years and will continue to do so if you withdraw it from the market. You may well possess technical skills but your business savy leaves much to be desired. For you to demand that Ryan run his site your way is nothing short of preposterous. Wayne

This is bizarre... I cleaned this thread up big time.

We don't allow drama on this forum. It's stated in the rules... It's stated just about everywhere. And I don't think it's too much to ask. We are adults. Be decent to each other. If you've got a problem with another user, take it up with them in a private message.

I provide the Ford Barn free of charge. I don't ask much man... I just ask that you have some manners. That's all...

So, enjoy the forum... but please respect our rules.

Thumbs up Re: carburetor 13/32 deep well socket

Bill, I received my socket yesterday, 2 days after sending you the payment via PayPal. It looks great! I have not yet gone out to the shop to test it out. I will report back when I do. Thanks for taking this project on.

Bill,
Received my sockets today, they are a work of art. The sockets are beautiful and the packaging will not only help keep them in good shape, but also identify them in my tool box.
Well done and I am very happy to have them..

And if they do, I would suggest that they open a new link with the question and then answer it there. Before buying my first A I had no idea what a GAV was, let alone how to use it.

Funny you say that MikeV. I know what it looks like and how to make a socket for it, lol, even understand it's function and how it operates, but I am sure that using it takes some practical experience.

I must admit I am surprised at the number of people who have received the sockets over the last couple weeks who have not commented here yet.

Not exactly sure when Tom Wessenberg got his, or if he got them yet, but I have been eagerly awaiting his technical input be it good or bad, lol.
