Model A's going down Woodward Ave.
Here is the video of our 24 A's on the Sunday before the Dream cruise. We have dinner and then make a big loop and to the ice cream shop. jack

Re: Model A's going down Woodward Ave.
Now that is cool.
I've only cruised along with one other A, a '29 that I happened to run into on the road. Towards the end of the video it sounds like you are talking to the other cars on a CB. I think I would be out of place in a function like that, those cars are all so beautiful, mine is still in primer with cardboard interior.

I forgot to include some clips of the cars going by. Here is a longer video showing that and the social parts. That makes it an 8 min video which is a bit long. Sorry about that. jack

Re: Model A's going down Woodward Ave.
I had one man ask about my door panels, he asked "did those cost you a lot?"
I said not really, the most expensive part about them was buying the refrigerator.

Re: Model A's going down Woodward Ave.
Thank you. Very nice thanks for posting, really enjoyed seeing this.
I wonder how many Model A Fords made this exact same drive when they were 'new' and the dealers were doing the Drive-A-Way from the Rouge plant back to their dealerships! As seen in the MAFCA DVD 'Selling the 1928 Ford Model A', from the Ford archives. |
