Default Drag link hits the tie rod

I changed the front string with one that is 1" lower than the stock spring. Now the tie rod and drag link rub each other. Has any one else have this problem and how did you solve it?

I used a stock spring. No problem.

I had a shorter pitman arm on it from my 2 tooth box but it didn't go far enough on a left turn with the wheels straight ahead at the center of boxes travel. I now have an F100 box in it.

I had pretty much same situation...needed very small distance but wouldn't clear.
Heated and bent the arm(s) that the rod attaches to.
