Default 39 ford generator

what kind of oil do i use and how much do i add for my generator on my 39 ford the last time i had it worked on was 2007 and i dont know if anything was done to it as far as the oil added to the generator. also i am putting on new lower radiator hoses on the passenger side lower hose their is a nipple for the heater hose what would have to be done to make sure it wont leak is their a special cement or glue that i will need along with a new nipple your help in this matter would surely be'' appricated ''. Just a couple of drops of engine oil in each oiler on your generator. Dont pump any more than that otherwise you will end up with oil on the commutator and the brushes which will stop it charging. Regards, Kevin.

There is a wick that goes to the oil impregnated rear bushing so a couple of drops will do. If you have that nipple out use Teflon tape, it is a pile thread .
