Default Car club north of Houston, Tx

Hello I live in Montgomery, Tx. I would like to see other model A’s that and maybe get in a club. Also maybe get some help I just put a new carb on and cap and rotor and it still won’t start. It ran before and then the carb was leaking bad, so I put a new one on and now nothing.

Sure sounds like an intake air leak. At the carb flange or the manifold. Try the old starter fluid trick.

You are probably 25 miles away from a great Model-A club that was founded back in the late 70s by Larry & Gwen Machacek. It is called the Piney Wood Model A club and it was based out of the Spring area. My father co-founded the Houston Model-A club back in the mid-60s, and while I have been gone from that area for nearly 40 years, I will make some phone calls for you if you cannot find anyone from the Piney Woods club.

Hi:

The president of our club, Piney Wood A's lives in Montgomery. Give him a call. He is an easy guy to talk with and will love to hear from you.
