Default Finally posting pictures of my "Finished" Tudor

I'd also like to give credit where credit is due. A fellow Barner I consider my Model A mentor Jay Pearcy. He has been a great friend and I love to pick his brain. Now he lives quite a distance from me and the Barn here is just a click away so tons of credit to you Barners as well. I know some of you have helped me a great deal directly or indirectly by reading past threads. So onto results...
Personally I say the pictures are a bit more flaterring than in person but It's definitely a driver so I should just get used to it having cosmetic flaws.

Nice job! Your car looks great.
I have to do all that yet to my 29 Tudor, but need to make room to get started on it.

That looks great! What did you use for the insulation? How did you install the insulation on the roof? Is there cotton padding on top of the roof insulation? Good job.

Thanks for the compliments fellas!
Tom - My garage is a 1 1/2 car space so you wouldn't need much room. When the body was off there was just enough room to have the rolling chassis and body side by side. It was frustrating at times. I moved it to another garage I have and parked my 66 impala in there which barely fits and I can't believe I restored that one in there too! Its ridiculously tight now.
Art- I used the bubble foil sold at places like Home Depot. I think it's HVAC insulation. I stapled it to the bows before laying down the chicken wire. I did that for 2 reasons. To substitute the anti-squeak material that goes on the bows and so there's no clearance issues making the top look more bubbled. I used a razor to slice the air pockets that were directly over each bow the chicken wire layed flat.
Mitch- Yes I think I will eventually add a stripe. I was actually thinking of using the burgundy color I used on the window garnish to use for the stripe and maybe stripe the wheels too. It's pretty dark so it would all be subtle striping.

Well that's a bit more than a "shave and a haircut". Great job, turned out real nice!

What colors did you use for the woodgraining? It's beautiful.

I agree with captndan, the woodgrain is beautiful. Tell us more about it? What kind of wood does it represent.....etc......?
