Default crown wheel carrier

Is there a difference between the crown wheel and spider carriers of 9-34 and 10-37 gear sets. I have just disassembled my Roadster diff, which had 9-34 gears fitted, but also had .062" side to side movement clearance between the crown wheel and pinion. The speedo drive has 10-37 on the housing, so does not match the gear set. There were other things wrong with it, but want to make sure I use the correct carrier assembly for a 9-34 gear set.

carriers are the same. either your housing is ware, or the carrier is ware. look for sign of a spun bearing.
