I use Bleche Wite, available in hardware, big box and auto parts stores. Spray it on, let it sit for a minute or two and use an old sponge with water to rub off the dirt, stains etc. Then spray off with a hose. Might take a few times to clear those stains. Use on a dry tire. Cleans up black walls, too.

Those streaks are probably from brake dust that might have been wet and slung around when driving. I get them mostly on the front with disc brakes. I use Bleche-Wite with a small scrub brush and they come out.

Recently found this stuff, “whitewall wax” I was skeptical at first, but the stuff actually works. It has worked on every whitewall stain I have thrown at it. Just apply to a clean white rag and rub the stains away. It can also be used to treat and protect the entire whitewall. Used on whitewall area only of course.

Do you heat the tire as they recommend?

Sometimes those stains are caused by storing tires on top of each other with the black wall side down against the white wall. Long term storage they should be separated with paper or cardboard.

Simple Green and a ScotchBrite Pad. Magic Eraser works too.

I just purchased 5 Firestone wide whites from Summit, from Coker tire and they have big warning labels on them saying that storing them with black side on white side will make a permanent stain on the white side. Hope you get it off.

I just let the sun do its work heating them up, but i have been able to use it effectively with no heat to remove spot stains as needed.

Many times I have used laquer thinner on a rag to make rubber items look new.

IMHO: The current version of Bleche-Wite is NO way near as good has the original version made by Wesley's, this new crap made by Black Magic is a watered down version of the original and to me, a waste of $, YMMV

be careful with the brillo pads as to much pressure & you will put scratches in the whitewall.
