Default Re: Was Lebaron Bonney bought out by Ecklers?

The tax reform act of 1986 disallowed income tax deductions for credit card interest. That was the year I got smart and have paid no credit card interest since then. I use credit cards for everything except gasoline and groceries, for convenience and for cash back from the cards.

Last month, I got sucked into opening another card for a certain large purchase in order to receive the bonus the seller offered. That card is paid off and will be cancelled as soon as it reports to the credit reporting agencies.
I use cards dedicated to certain categories, which translates to verifiable tax documents at end of year.

When I die, don't cut open my mattress looking for cash, the only cash I have is in my pocket.

Final note.

Paypal ruled in our favor and our money was refunded today .

Lesson learned.

Over on the A.A.C.A. site someone posted that they were going to a car show at an Eckler's Distribution Center and there was a sign stating "show cancelled, mass layoff's". Not a good sign right before the holiday's.
