Default Chickasha Oklahoma PreWar Swap 2017 - What are you bringing or buying?

It's almost Chickasha PreWar Swapmeet time!

Curious what you might be bringing to sell, or what you're looking for while out there.

I'll be looking for items for my '34 three window, I may be interested in some 1935 open brake drums, small suspension parts, and interesting accessories.

I don't have a booth, but I do have some Model A parts and some early V8 stuff I won't be needing that I could bring to Chickasha. 30-31 gas tanks, 30-31 old roadster top, 30-31 new roadster door skins (best door skins you can buy.) Model A fenders... 40 Ford style rear backing plates, 46-48 Lincoln front brake drums, etc

The Chickasha Pre-War swap meet is the third Friday in March and is this coming weekend in Chickasha, OK.

The meet has the largest selection of brass era parts anywhere. It is limited to automobiles, parts, transportation items pre-1945. There is plenty of free parking, and admission is free.

This year the meet will be held on Friday, March 17th and Saturday, March 18th, 2017.

I would say it's the next best thing to the Hershey swap meet for finding brass era and oddball auto maker parts. There is always a healthy amount of Model T, Model A and early V8 parts.

In fairness to those who have not been there before, you will see everything, maybe twice, in a morning. But, but yes, it's- ALL - pre war

i'm leaving in the morning. dont need anything except a swap meet with no rusty cragar mags, and no snowmobil hoods. its all rust brown every where you look. its not hershey, or bakersfield, but pretty much fun anyway. really lots of A&T stuff, but its been a winter break for me for 25 years or so. supposed to be warm this year. it can 80 or 30, thats oklahoma in march

Keep in mind that much of the meet is inside.

I picked up a wide 5 wheel yesterday but will try to make it out there again this weekend. Looked like a good turnout.

Great weekend for parts hunting. Saw some old friends also and had a lot of laughs. The vendor spaces inside the building were about half full, but outside had a lot of spaces full. I guess people wanted to be in the nice weather.

Here are the things I found. Stocked up on gaskets. 21 and 24 stud. CHEAP
antique church truck - wife likes it and wants to make a table out of it
really clean cast iron pump-in-head replacement heads
fuel pump stands (noticed I was out of these so grabbed some spares)
Some neat old accessory bumpers. May try out the "kustom" look on my Model A for a while. haha
Spring Spreaders - Top is for the rear. Looks home made. Bottom is an old Herbrand spreader. It should have had another shorter piece that was missing. I needed it for a front spring this weekend so chopped 4" out of it and it worked great.

This thing was awesome. Anyone know if it was for sale? It looked like people were using it.

It's a Model T era camper made by Zagelmeyer Auto Camp Company of Bay City Michigan. It looked brand new.

The little camper was cute! Not for sale, however,
Plans were said to be available.

My favorite there was the 42 Olds B44.
Neat original car.
