Default Need your spare 30-31 hubcaps

Our club is hosting the 2014 New England Meet, and we are hand-making the trophies that will be awarded. A component of the trophies is 30-31 hubcaps, which will be used as part of the trophy base. If you have spare 30-31 hubcaps that you are willing to donate (or sell for a couple of bucks at the most), it would really help out our efforts. They don't have to be in perfect condition: minor dents and scratches are ok. If you took off a set of the poor reproductions that used to be out there, and replaced them with originals or the good repros now available, please check and see if you kept the old repros. They'll work well for us. Please send me a private message if you are able to help.

Thanks!

Can you use rusty ones? I have some that are completely covered in rust, and some that the chrome is just very dull and rough.

The New England is not a static show event. The schedule of activities is eclectic with touring, some car judging, dining, dancing and social gatherings being the focus.

Check this out. http://www.freewebs.com/modela/docum...ion%20Form.pdf

This year is the 58th New England Model A Ford Meet, and it rotates annually between host clubs in Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York and New Jersey. It is a great tradition, and I highly recommend this meet to all. Try it once and you will be hooked.

As Bob mentioned, the meet is located in Hauppauge, Long Island and it is September 11-14, 2014. To participate in any of the activities, you have to be a registered attendee, and the registration form is located here: http://www.freewebs.com/modela/newenglandmeet2014.htm

There are still a very few hotel rooms available, and the registration form contains the Hotel Information.

Not to sound rude, but $50.00 for a meal for 1 adult is just insane.

Afordman31 is correct, it is not just the cost of the food, it is the entertainment too. The entertainment will be awesome (as will be the food too)!
