mystery switch
I have a 1941 PU and still learning a lot about it. Can anyone tell me what this switch is under the dash on the left side of the steering column. Sorry don't know how to post a picture. The original ignition switch is not being used as it has a newer one added to the dash. The wires from the mystery switch are going into the wire harness.

Re: mystery switch
On my '38 it is an on/off switch for the dash lights. Turn your headlights and ignition on and operate the switch to verify this is for the dash lights. Of course, you will need to be in a dark place to see the dash lights.

Re: mystery switch
Bob, Not sure but most likely for the dash lights. The 48 and 49 PU have that.
