Proud of my little Flathead
Had our anual car cruise and show, two day event here in Bay City Michigan with all proceeds going to American Cancer Society. My 36 was one of 3 cars with Flatheads, out of 559. Actually had one guy who looked at my engine and said , what the heck is that! Told him it was the new Ford EV, plugs in at the rear driver tail light! lol.... First show of the season and looking forward to three more to show the girl off. There was a street rod 35 with Chevy engine, almost lost my lunch.

Re: Proud of my little Flathead
Thanks for sharing such a GR8 36 ! I like some "hot rods", but am sick of cookie cutter 350s in Fords. I'd like to put a Ford engine of any kind in a 57 Ch--- just because ......!!!!!
I wouldn't waste a nice Ford mill though....lol |

Hey Tim .....That Camaro picture has been around for years, and although attention-getting, I've always believed that picture was "Photo-Shopped" because it looks like the rear (transmission) end of the engine seems to be sitting too low. Below is another FLATTY VET that I also believe is "P-Shopped" because it appears that too much stuff is sticking-up above where the hood would clear. Fun stuff, though! DD |

Re: Proud of my little Flathead
Corvettes are pretty cheap... let's just build one that isn't photoshopped. I will paypal the first 100 bucks.
