^^^^^????? I'm thinking $28 delivered for all Ol' Ron's knowledge is a pretty good deal.

Probably the cheapest book on the flathead engine is jWL's, considering what went in it to give the information it contains.. Remember, knowledge is power. and can save you money.

All knowledge will come with a price. I've found books to be the most economical way to learn!

No. The $28 ones I have no problem with. It's the 80, 90, and up that I have an issue with. And buying each guru's guide adds up. And I also know some of them are out of print, which drives the price up.
But you guys are right. The knowledge contained in them can be invaluable.
It just seems like a Barrett-Jackson syndrome going on.
"I saw one on B/J sell for a million, six, so mine ought to be worth a half mil easy."
BTW if you'll PM me the info, (or point me in the right direction) I'd like one of Ron's books.

You are quite welcome. Ron is correct though. JWL's book is also a must. Both books are entirely different from each other. Bill
