headliner
Hi there
Searched the forum but could not find my answer. Trying to replace the headliner and the one I ordered does not have a pocket to run the ribs thru. I had thought that they were to not be seen. Anybody have a picture of one or know what it looks like to have exposed ribs? Car is a 1941 ford deluxe 2 door. Looking like a pain for sure and did find that I may have to remove rear window to complete job. Makes sense as I could not figure that method of attachment out at all. |

Re: headliner
Sounds like you were sent the wrong headliner or it was made incorrectly. Ribs (bows) should not be exposed.
There should be loops sewn onto the inside of the headliner into which the headliner bows are inserted and hidden. Should look like this: https://www.ebay.com/itm/22433995399...waAhr4EALw_wcB |
