Default Radiator

I’d like to buy a Bergs radiator for the 28. I’ve been on the Bergs website and it calls out the price but there’s nothing to click on to buy it. Checked on Berts website and put in bergs radiator and it won’t come up. I’d like to get a Bergs, not sure where to go to purchase it. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Dougs, I bought my Bergs radiator by calling by phone and ordering that way. Sorry don't remember the phone number. Hugh

I just bought one for my 1930 Fordor. I called to order then sent him a check in the mail. I like the radiator. Good quality. Fit was perfect. I have not had a chance to really give it a good test by running up the grade to Boone on a hot day.

I posted this on another thread but posting it here for the record.

Today was the first real test with my new Bergs radiator. I drove up the grade on 421 towards Boone. This is a 4 1/2 mile 8% grade. The temperature today was in the high 70's. The car has a 160 degree thermostat that has been modified with 6 holes 1/4-inch in diameter in the flange. The temperature gauge is off of the outlet pipe at the top of the head. I am running 50/50 antifreeze/water.

This would have been a boilover event with the old radiator. The coolant temperature reached 180 degrees and the Motometer fluid reached about 1/3 of the way up. I was in 3rd gear with the pedal to the metal and the GPS at 48 mph.

There was a little outflow of the coolant but this is to be expected and I am not refilling the radiator. All in all I am very happy with the new radiator.

Great to here, just ordered mine on Monday. Bergs said it would take about 4 weeks before I would receive it as they are busy, no problem it works for me. Can’t wait to install it.

I bought my Bergs by calling them.

I don't care how hot the outside temp is or how fast you drive or how many HP you have you will love it!
