Glass help
Has anyone purchased glass from Vintage Glass USA ? I don't think I have seen a comment about their products or service.
Any help much appreciated. Royal |

Re: Glass help
I always get my glass cut locally and use the "bug" kit from Roy Nacewicz. Just tell them you do not want any logos on the glass they cut.

Re: Glass help
Another vote for Street Rod Glass in Riverside. Did the windshield for my '39 p/u and provided great install advice since I was doing it myself.

Re: Glass help
Vintage Glass USA cut all the glass for my Merc. When I asked if they needed the old glass for a pattern, they said they had the patterns and needless to say the glass was perfect. Of course this was not done thru the mails as I live within a short driving distance from their location in CT.

Re: Glass help
Bought glass for my 36 coupe from them. First w/s glass would not come close to fitting the frame and didn't match my original one. Second one was almost as bad and I had to have it ground down to match the original. Cost me $70. Door glass did not match exactly side to side. I haven't tried the rear window yet. Quarter window glasses fit well. I was really dis appointed in the quality and fit.

Re: Glass help
Roy Nacewicz at one time had a glass company, as I recall the name was Carleton
Glass. If I'm correct we know that glass would be perfect. Charlie |

Re: Glass help
Received the glass from Street Rod Glass in good shape. I will be installing soon. The glass appears to be good quality. I'll know more after it goes in.

Re: Glass help
Chris Blattie of Billings Montana is top notch. Can be found on H.A.M.B. Montana Glass I think it is called.
Also, Sanders Reproductions. Great work and adds correct Ford Bug. Have used both and always good, especially Chris Blattie. Top notch. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/m...lattie.105151/ https://www.sandersreproglass.com/ |
