Started a new job and had been busy with that. Then had some back pain and finally got the doctor to do an MRI. Had to have back surgery but today I finally brought home a rebuilt 49-53 motor. Slow progress but at least its something.

The engine I picked up has car water pumps on it. Looking to switch over to the other style water pumps.

change the crank pulley to a wide belt style, along with the pumps, you will also need a wide belt fan and alternator/generator, or you can mount the fan to the crank with a little pulley modification and mount the fan to that and run one belt. if this interest you I will get better pictures/etc

I was looking to swap the pulleys over from the engine that was in the truck. Got the engine unloaded before the rain comes in. Not doing too much and mess my back. A Powermaster alternator that looks like a generator came with the engine too.

That Powermaster alternator has a very small car alternator stuffed inside of it. Mine lasted less than 3,000 miles before frying itself. Had an old school generator shop put in a replacement that is holding up for now.
