Default Front wheels don't turn.

I just bought a 2 post lift for my shop. When I lifted my 29 fordor for oil change and lube my front wheels will not turn. Is this normal? What causes this? It seemed that everything was ok prior to this as I pushed it forward by hand to straighten it up.

When you lift a model a by the frame the front axle hangs down and the brake rods have tension on them bc they're attached to the cross shaft which is bolted to the frame and pulls on the front actuating arm, let it down and floor Jack the front axle and they should spin ok

For what its worth. I am able to raise my roadster on a 2 post and spin the tires easily.

The tires not turning is a normal occurrence on a 2 post lift. If brake work needs to be performed disconnect the brake rods to remove the tension, then reload the axles and readjust.
I find it easiest to remove the front rods at the actuating arms, the rear rods at the service and E brake cross shafts.
I fine tune and road test the brakes by using hair pin clips instead of cotters, when all adjustments are correct I then do a final install of the cotter pins
