Still looking. Talked with Sacramento vintage, and probably mislead them into thinking part number 85-392 was correct for the 29-31 zenith throttle shaft plug.
The dimension for 85-392 is .47 inches. Need 9/32"
Must be another zenith.

I don't think so, there is seldom any wear on that side of the shaft, I have
2 Zeniths hanging up that do not have them, I believe the plug would only be removed if the bushings have been replaced and reamed, a cost saving change at some time?.

Necessary is a personal call, since it is on the engine side leaving it alone is an alternative.
Closest similar plug is 1/32 smaller. So now I will see if I can make it work.
