Check in once in a while. I have only personally met a couple of these ford psychopaths on here also. We have talked on here to most of these guys more then our neighbors over the years.

I hope your health issues improve. Rest and focus on you and yours!

Hey Grumpy you can still hang out. Might have to change your handle beings that you don't have any ol beauties. Buy or keep somethin just to rub or beat on. Too many quit doin what they have done all their life & just get their ticket punched.

Hang with us grumpy, you never know when someone here may need your help, or you might wind up owning another old Ford that you'll need help with.

.

Hey Grump ....Since just last Monday, I have sold our '37 Coupe, our '65 Corvette Coupe, and as of just last night, our '40 Coupe is also sold. ALL THREE of our 'toy' cars are effectively gone and some of the stash is going to be offered in short order. My health has been wonky this past three years or so, so it's time. But I ain't selling my computer, and it's gonna take the wrath of Ryan to run me off from this place. I'm not understanding why no more cars should mean no more FordBarn. I wish you well. Me...I ain't goin' nowhere (I hope)! The Coopman (DD)

V8: Sorry to hear of "health" dept. issues but, you did what is best for you. I sure hope you feel "weller" soon and that life is good to you. You are a valuable asset to all car folks as your range of knowledge and life's experience combined with your communication skills and attention in conveying meaningful detailed information is invaluable. Bruce Lancaster (RIP) and you are high on the scale as "Masters". You know just enough to get us in trouble but even more to get us out of trouble. I always look forward to all your posts and read them all. Your pertinent photos are solid gold.

So, thanks for remaining on Fordbarn and sharing what you know. Jim Pullen

Didn't know you owned a 40. Please post a photo of it, if possible.

Hey Jim .....I really appreciate the nice words!! I'm sorry that I don't have access to better pictures at the moment. Momma 'moved' my album (location temporarily unknown) with all of my old car pictures going back to 1969, and these BELOW are the only ones I have on the computer. We've owned this '40 since 1997.....admittedly nothing like as long as that PULLEN coupe has been in your livery. You can read just a little more about the car in my profile link, BELOW! The '37 in the 'hood' picture is old days original, stock, stock, STOCK! It's going to Ohio. Dick D (DD)

v8: THANKS for posting the photos. You are very brave placing the 40 hood on the 37 without fear of slipping and sliding. Both cars are beauties. Now, go enjoy all the space in your garage!
