What the best lube for iy anyway. Its driving me crazy.

Vasoline is for me too,all but the top 4-6" that gets a little oil then wipe most off. ken ct.

Graphite from your auto parts store. Comes in a small squeeze tube that the tip gets cut.

Disconnect the cable from the speedometer and be sure the squeek is in the cable, not the speedometer head. I'm working on the same problem with mine of late.
