Default The River Rouge Complex

I was looking at some old pictures of a visit that I took during a visit to the Rouge in 2009. The 20 Millionth Ford which happens to an A was there at the time. Not sure what's displayed there "A" wise at the moment?

Thanks to Tom & Doug for pointing out my error

Pictures are here

Went to Dearborn the last week of September. We had our class in the World Headquarters building (glass house) and Bill Ford's 1903 Model A was in the lobby. If I remember right he paid north of 600 k for it. I told my wife I'm well behaved compared to Bill. she reminded me he makes a hell of a lot more than I do!

I know that Henry Ford and his Ford Motor Company made about 5 million Ford Model A's. So who made the other 15 million Model A's ?

Was it Glaeser or Shay ? Or a combined 15 million production by both Glaeser AND Shay ?

That was the 20 millionth FORD, not Model A, but the 20 millionth happened to be a Model A.

I know it's been mentioned several places in the Ford Barn, but if you haven't seen it it's a fascinating video of the Rouge River Plant 1939.
