Minimum amount of gas in 1932 tank.
I am burning off some older gas that is in my 32 Coupe. The car is running fine. How low should I let the level get before adding fresh gas? I will stick the tank. Ed

Where are you gonna stick the tank, Ed? The devil made me do it.

Re: Minimum amount of gas in 1932 tank.
Well have a gallon of gas with you and let it run out. That said, lots of people will say don't have a can of gas in the car.
That said, the lower you can get it the more it is diluted with the good stuff when you add it. Why not get a gallon of good stuff, syphon out the bad stuff and add the fresh stuff and go and fill up. This shouldn't be too hard to sort out. |

The most reliable gas gas gauge ever, a ruler or something comparable, but only on '32s and some '33-'34s as once the filler tube is curved it's not an option.
The tank holds 14 gallons, getting it down to one or two gallons should be enough. |

I'd drain it all out and use the old gas for my lawn mower. Glenn |
