Post orig. lug wrench,crank

on the repro lug wrenches available, i find the shortened end used for cranking the engine are in line with the offset handle end... my question then is- are the original cranks in line with the handle or rotated 90 degrees to it...seems i remember some talk of this years ago on the barn....anybody sure of this..thanks...kev

They had both ways, and it's in the STANDARDS, which I don't have in front of me, so I can't tell you the time of each.

thanks ton and don. i now have the standards in front of me. revision 1997. just like don posted.for my 31 is; a-17036-B. the throw is 71/2".does the 8" make a difference cranking?now i know which one to shop for at swap/shop.......the books were on the bottom of the pile....thanks again...kev
