Default Push in window felt clips for 1939 2dr sedan?

I just received my push in felt clips for the window felt on my 1939 ford. Looks like they clip the outside edge of the felt. Hopping someone has installed them and can give me some guidance. Thanks for any help. Ron

Ron, I have found it easier to push the "clamps" in place to the door. Then place the weatherstrip within the "clamps" and one by one, tap the "clamp" closed using a punch and hammer.

Thanks Kube, I'm wondering how the clip don't scratch the glass. Ron

The clip, installed properly, is buried well into the "fuzzy".

Don't know if will be helpful or not; but here is a picture of original clips in place with most of the fuzzy stuff gone.
