Default Question about Generator/ Alternator

I am looking for a alternator and looks like a stock generator. It needs to be 12 volt. Macs used to have them listed for around $400 plus.
I have not heard much about them as of late. Question about using them? This car is a 1939 Deluxe Ford.

We just installed one of the PowerMaster ones in my '40 coupe. It came from Speedway Motors and was a little over $400. Looks great and works well.
