28-29 vs 30-31 rear fenders
I plan to check out some fenders this weekend. Short of carrying around my 30 coupe fender as an example, what is the difference between the two versions that I can spot right away?

Easy to tell.
The splash apron cutout is a deep right angle for 30-31 and only a small curve on 28-29. |

Re: 28-29 vs 30-31 rear fenders
The cutout in the front of the fender where the splash apron mounts in noticeably different
30-31 has a 90 degree cutout; 28-29 is sloped maybe 45 degrees. Watch the diff in sedan and coupe/roadster. Sedan tapers to the contour of a body; coupe is pretty much a full width fender the whole radius. |
