It was a neat ride but I would have preferred hearing the sweet sound of the flathead in your '34 rather than the music....The music was okay though....

Thanks, enjoyed the ride and the music. Speedo looked a tad slow.

A group of us Model T owners would go to Lake Willoughby and travel around on the dirt roads up there, loads of good times and great memories. I forgot how nice the dirt roads were up there! I had a 1926 Model T Touring car at the time, an old timer buried me going up the hill from Newport, VT to Jay's Peak, he had a Ruckstell (I didn't). Traveled 12 miles up hill in low gear, talk about slow enough to watch grass grow!!! My left leg looked like I was a NFL lineman when I got to the top! You have to have driven a Model T to understand. Got a Ruckstell installed after that, a 1932 Ford after that and now a 46, no more issues going up hills!

You have some great content in that over the hood video and I hate to be a critic. I'd have shot it with the phone tilted to the side so you get more of a panoramic view. The vertical view gives tunnel vision. Still good stuff and keep on shooting.

Shoe Box Jack, a Ruckstell is a two speed rear axle for a Model T, it is a underdrive not a overdrive rear axle. It gives you a lower gear and has a shifter, usually used when in high gear and you hit a tough hill, you shift the Ruckstell into low and you have a lower gear to keep momentum up. Has straight cut gears so you can shift into low without a clutch. Shifting into high takes a little clutch and throttle work. A Ruckstell and Rock Mountain Brakes make a Model T a whole different car to drive, and a heck of a lot safer (unless its raining).
