Default Emergency brake anti rattle felt

Where does the anti rattle felt install on ‘30 emergency brake lever?

The felt goes on the rod inside the emergency brake lever. It is intended to prevent the rod from rattling.

See the Ford Service Bulletin of April 1929, Page 337. There is a sketch of the brake lever showing the installation of the felt washer.

My scanner is broken, so I cannot post the service bulletin. Perhaps another Barner will post it.

Thanks
I did not realize the lever button sleeve (A-2792) could come out of the lever tube. It sure doesn't look like it does.

I think they are showing the early to mid 1929 lever.

So the question remains. Without being able to remove the button sleeve, where does the felt washer go?

Well the button sleeve definitely is made integral with my ‘30 lever. When I disassembled there was a small hard fiber washer under the spring and the tiniest remnants of a felt washer. I think I did it wrong. I shoved the felt in from bottom side with a wire. I believe it has to go in from top somehow but hole seems too small?
