I am at a total loss for words. I will miss him also. I e-mailed back and forth with him on a number of occasions when I still had my 28 rdstr pu and spoke with him on the phone once or twice. Even bought some parts from him. All of this loss in such a short time is hard to take. One more family to put on my prayer list which any more is really long. He will be Greatly missed. Rod

I have known Steve for at least 20 years, through the AMCA, and I can tell you he was a great guy, who always had time for a beer, a good joke, and conversation about old bikes or old cars. He will be sorely missed by everyone who ever had the pleasure to know him. Very sad occasion to hear this news.

This just took my breath away ! We had communicated about "A"s and antique motorcycles, several times. I had just sent him an e-mail and was waiting for his return.
He was going to get in touch with me, when he came to Daytona next time for the bike fetivities.
I think that we would have become friends.
Sorry about the news.

My condolences to to Steves family. I enjoyed reading his posts. Never met or talked to him but know I would have liked him. A loss for everyone.

I hadn't known him well, for years my wife and I saw him at the AMCA meets and was just introduced to him last year, and we had a great talk about A's. When we told him we vacationed in the new england area he said we had to stop by for the tour. I was so pleased it was time again for the Jefferson show, at the end of the month, knowing I would see him and talk A's again. Wish I would have met him years earlier.

For those close friends of his here, I am sorry to have been the one with the news, and I am sure it was quite a shock. It shocked me so much I didn't read the email just the re, immediately checked this forum and felt a little panic as I senced the Model A community had not heard.

This evening I went to the garage and sat on a fender to reflect. We have truly lost an untold wealth of information and such great guys this year, it just really sucks to say the least.

Again, to his good friends and family I am sorry and you're in our thoughts and prayers.

I went for a 60+ mile run in the Roadster Pickup today. I thought that it was the best thing I could do for my mind. I truely got the wind knocked out of me with Dave's passing. Then, today, I get a call from Ron Rude to tell me that Steve is also gone. Yesterday, I felt like I was kicked in the gut and now I feel like I've been knocked on the ground and stomped on. I am so sad right now.

So sad...such a great guy. Once again, just know him from reading this forum, plus we chatted a few times and he sure knew his stuff.

I, like Marco, am not handling the loss of Dave and Steve very well, two very close friends. Steve and I just had a long telephone talk Wednesday evening. He told me he had not seen his doctor for a couple of months ; Steve had a blood disorder; I told him to not put it off any longer. Steve has been spending quite a bit of time lately with his parents, who are both in their 90's. Steve is a only child and his parents are going to take this very hard; I believe they relied on him a great deal.

Just this past Thursday I stopped the tractor for which I was seeding wheat with and thought I would give Steve a call. We talked for about a 1/2 hour about Model A Fords. He gave me some advice on cleaning my newly aquired early 1929 Tudor chassis.

That night I went down to the Pendleton Round-up and just got back tonight and about fainted when I heard some phone messages about his passing.

Steve was truly one of those persons who would give you the shirt off of his back if you were in need of it. He was also a very good friend with a big heart.

My heart and prayers go out to his parents and family.

Steve is second from the right in my avitar.

Then when I heard about David...that was a double hit in the gut.

We will miss you my friend! Both Steve and David.

Pluck

I know its far off but i was really looking forward returning to the FRENCH LICK for the MARC meet in 2014. And Steve was one of the reasons... Today i'll be at a car show and at 12:00 i'll walk to the bar down the block and have a beer.

What a loss to our hobby. I tried to stop by Steve's spaces at Hershey every year and one year we spent about three hours together chatting about the Model A. Steve was always willing to share his vast knowledge with me and it seems others who asked on this forum. There will be a huge hole at Hershey this year. My thoughts and prayers to Steve's family.

Unhappy Re: We have lost another, Steve Ciccalone passed yesterdayterday

Steve was one of the great ones.
spring of 2004 he advertised a MARC of excellence Coupe for sale in the Fordbarn classifieds. I was one of the first to call him about it and while we worked out the details of the purchase he turned down subsequent offers from others who wanted him to throw me under the bus and sell to them.
was fortunate to finally meet him last year at French Lick, and am greatly saddened by this news. it has been a tough year for me personally, with the loss of my wife in May; and the passing of several major players in the Model A community is a continuing reminder of how fragile life is.
may God bless Steve's family and friends in this most difficult time.......

WOW? First Dave and now Steve. I too am in shock but we all must realize that a lot of us have been around for a number of years and every day the road of life gets shorter. Still hard to believe when it happens to someone we have known for a long time. My condolences to the family. Jim Langley

My thoughts and prayers are with his family. I met Steve once and also received the grand tour. What a terrific guy. He will be missed.
