Re: Model A commercial vehicles picture thread!!
I never really thought about it...but it looks like those little four cylinder...24 H.P. engines could pull alot of weight. I want to pull a trailer behind my 30 coupe with my 1919 Indian powerplus on it. I wasn't sure about it...but it dosen't look like a problem at all. What do you think.

I think the model A have a lot of power with low revolutions, I don´t know if you go at 60 mph but they don´t have a problem to pulley a motorbike

Re: Model A commercial vehicles picture thread!!
Several years ago at an auction we found a "box" like this. An old fella told us that it was a school bus. Oringinally it was wenched on the back of a hay rackand used to pick up the kids for a country school. Later he said they used a truck to do the hauling. During the summer it would be off loaded so the wagon or truck could be use for other purposes. Ron |

Re: Model A commercial vehicles picture thread!!
Years ago I bought a poster of a magician and his AA. Try as I may, I just get a little picture of a cartoon landscape surrounded by 9 little squares when I try to post it. So I posted it as an album on my Deluxe Delivery member's page. Check it out !

Re: Model A commercial vehicles picture thread!!
There are a TON of commercial vehicles in the Ford News publications from 1928-1931.
I wonder if Ford still has all those photos? Pluck |

Original Ford commercial vehicle photo reproductions available through MAFFI web site
Pluck,
Most of the official Ford AA commercial vehicle photos are available from MAFFI. They can be previewed on their web site at the following link: http://www.maffi.org/factoryphotos/commercial/ Here is a sample of one of the preview photos: The following MAFFI link provides guidance on how to get full sized copies of those photos: http://www.maffi.org/My_Homepage_Files/Page12.html The photos they offer were scanned from an original Ford Commercial Vehicle dealership sales book (I believe from 1930). Another DeLuxe Pickup (a/k/a GAZ 4) in eastern Europe... with custom wheels and tires. Russia produced MANY more Deluxe Pickups than did Ford USA. Did any survive?
