Photos for Mr. Wzorek
The other day I received four beautifully rebuilt shock absorbers from Mr. Bill Wzorek, the shock man. Well, I've finally had an opportunity to get 'em bolted up to the car and they look pretty nice if I do say so myself. And Bill, you asked for pictures, so here they are for everyone to enjoy. I also got my dual-exhaust system installed (from Red's Headers) last weekend. Busy, busy.
My rebuilt gauges also arrived last night. I had them spruced up and recalibrated by a company called D&M out of South Carolina. They look pretty nice I'd say. |

Sweet work. I live in Czech Republic and sometimes do work in Poland, and the Polish word Wzorec means example or benchmark. I think he lives up to his name!

Re: Photos for Mr. Wzorek
Just to be clear, the front shocks shown are not original 35 nor 36 Ford, I'm sure they will work just fine.

That's a really neat fact! I think Bill's work speaks for itself. BTW, you must get A TON of looks driving a '55 Sunliner in the Czech Republic.

Re: Photos for Mr. Wzorek
I hope not! I'm building it to be a driver with an emphasis on reliability; I want coast-to-coast dependability.
LOL, everybody's got to get dirty from time to time! Bingo! Bill hooked me up with some other front shocks to save me a good bit of money. Unfortunately the originals that came with the car were toast; luckily the rears were rebuildable. |

The car just got here in December, and I've had it out only once to air up the tires ... and yes I saw quite a few heads turning. I decided to bring the '55 over here because Fords are fairly poorly represented at car shows (except for Mustangs). Generally the American classics I see here are Caddys, Buicks, and 50-60's Chevy's. Wish me luck in converting some folks into Ford lovers this year! If your interested, here's a link to photos of the cars in my local club.
