Perhaps the two bidders were just buying too early?

I have paid more than I should on several occasions. I just taught caught up in the bidding. Oh well I'll survive. That has nothing to do with my integrity or morals. I've seen a minimum reserve, but I've never seen a maximum. Everything is worth what a willing seller and a willing buyer will pay. That may be where the senility comes in. Hey guys no name calling please.

Maybe some of the coments used here are because they don't have the Restoration Guidelines that point out some of the details that make some of the parts worth more than the average one removed off a car that sat in a field for 50-60 years. If they spent $25.00 for the book then they could join all the fun selling on Ebay and possible make more than the cost of the Restoration Guidelines plus a little or a lot in some cases.

[B][/Mitch. That is taken out of context. I did not call him those names. I just feel sorry for someone that pays several times more for a part than a restored part can be bought on this site. It is just too bad he did not know that the part was available on this site. I did not mean to call any person any name.

Maybe if you guys actually discussed cars and parts only and not drift off on who did what and why and have that take over the discussion - I wouldn't have to close the thread.

Mitch, c26. This is your last chance to keep your accounts. Anymore reports on either of you, and your accounts will be closed.
